Since arrogance, self-righteousness hates the truth because it reveals their anger and hatred for truth and anyone who lives the truth...
How is it so many people including Catholic nuns, brothers, priests even some even bishops and archbishops I have heard say that God does not send storms or HIS wrath ever?
God's mercy endures forever and no man's sin could ever be so filthy dirty that God would not forgive him and be able to cleanse his or her sin with the Most Precious Blood of HIS only Son.
But God cannot cleanse anyone of sin that they are not remorseful of.
Only if a man is willing to go the rest of their life seeking HIS goodness...seeking to live righteously according to HIS Commandments can God wash them clean.
One who is determined to continue living an abomination will never receive forgiveness and mercy because he or she is not willing to lay down their wicked arrogance.
So why do so many who teach in the name of the church do not see that hurricanes and storms come to give to cleanse the land of those who refuse to stop living an abomination...
To release God's little ones from the bondage of the arrogant who have seated themselves in high places and abuse their power over God's little ones who serve HIM from early morn till dark and cry to HIM day & night?
Did anyone pay attention to all of those who put out picnic umbrellas along Lake Pontchartrain in arrogance saying all over Facebook and other networks: "We've been through Katrina whats Isaac?" as they laughed, drank beer and wine and shared promiscuous sexual behaviors.
Even if storms were not intended for the gulf coast but the east coast...or the other way around...
Arrogant mocking behavior will only cause more storms to form to destroy all arrogance on earth...
For no one on earth or under the earth can ever mock God and live!
